Purpose
AI and agentic systems increasingly make or depend on claims about authority, tool use, provenance, security, state changes, verification, and governance. DDCAL focuses on whether those claims survive independent technical challenge.
Origin
DDC Assurance Lab originated from assurance methodology and technical research and development undertaken through Altru.dev. DDCAL is being established as the dedicated identity and controlled assurance surface for this work.
Approach
DDCAL is intentionally being built as a laboratory-quality operation rather than a generic AI consultancy. Public claims, controlled documents, assessment authority, evidence, revisions, and corrections are treated as part of the assurance system itself.
